Your Personal Manifesto
Why did I write a personal 'Manifesto'? 💡
It's a strange way to spend a weekend. But here's the method behind the madness...
Truthfully, I’ve done this in some format for the last 5+ years.
Values.
Processes.
‘Rules’ to live by.
Frameworks to help me be healthier, happier, more productive etc.
So I put this together recently to act my kind of ‘quick guide for successful living’.
It’s intended to:
- Identify my values
- Provide focus and direction
- Improve decision making
My mind is often overflowing with ideas, and having some parameters to work within helps to remain focussed and keep me on track.
Having it on the wall above my desk means I can check-in with it each morning, or whenever I am feeling stuck or even a bit lost.
There are actually 4 more pages to the document, breaking down each rule into simple reminders and actions.
They are also all very personal and there is deeper meaning to each, but that's just for me.
It’s probably not for everyone, maybe even a bit weird.
But that’s point number 5.
STAY WEIRD.
Nothing great came from being ‘normal’. Pursue the weird.
