Daily Scorecards

I’ve got a simple system for productivity. It’s a daily scorecard.

To get the most out of myself, and my day I have a list of things I need to do every day to prepare myself to perform.

There are two categories:

1. Habits & Actions
2. ‘Showing up’

Habits & Actions is made up of 7 things I’ve identified that get the best out of me each day. These are tick boxes:

Exercise (4-5xp/w)
Meditate
Read
Walk outside
LinkedIn (3xp/w)
Create (personal)
Bed by 930pm

Then ‘Showing Up’ is how I conduct myself and whether I got results from the day. Each scored out of 5:

Attitude
Effort
Energy
Results

At the end of each day I total them up and review how I feel I performed. It helps me stay focused, identify where I need to improve and celebrate the small efforts and wins that lead to success.

5/7 Actions is a WIN.
14/20 is a WIN.

It might seem like effort, but it takes me 2 mins each morning/evening and 5 to write up on Sunday nights for week ahead.

I’m weird. I do weird stuff.
But I also want to win really badly.

This is just my way of getting there.
